Mama is very hungry, 💀ԅ( ͒ ۝ ͒ ) so it's up to you to venture out into her subconscious and find cursed objects to feed her. Be careful, though, as the curses affect you!

A surreal multiplayer horror experience for you and three friends! (ʕ•̫͡•ʕ•͓͡•ʕ•̫͡•ʔ•̫͡•ʔ) <- (you and your friends if you were bears)

In Mama Sleeping Angels, you’ll:

Each descent into Mama’s dream brings you to a unique mixture of prefabricated environments with procedurally generated Au Jus (vibes): tangled buildings, towering sawmills, and even ghost girlfriends. Don't take too long looking around though... As the nightmare goes on, violent creatures start to manifest.

Your cell phone connects you with friends and NPCs across the nightmare. It’s also your flashlight and curse analyzer—a tool of survival in a world that breathes as you do. (plus each character has their own unique dangly charm ʕ☞ᴥ ☜ʔ)

Who am I? (itamu) I am a self taught indie dev, living in Portland, OR. I have a disability that prevents me from walking or standing much, so I spend the majority of my time 3D modeling crazy monsters (and posting them online here and here) and programming for Mama's Sleeping Angels.

During the majority of Covid, I was still able to get around with ease. Back then, I worked service jobs during the day, and learned how to make videogames in the night. I have successfully start-to-finish produced a niche indie game once before, Closer To Home.

Closer To Home was an experiment for me, to see if I could learn to program at all. It's a simple game. I did no marketing for it, nor did I have any audience. Despite all that, and the fact that that only a couple of people have ever played the game, I am proud that it maintains a near perfect review score on Steam.

There is no doubt that I will finish Mama's Sleeping Angels. In fact, it is in a playable state as I write this. However, it needs a lot more work before it becomes the "Nightmare Friend-Manipulator Horror Comedy" that I know that it can be. As it stands, with a few more months of work, I can have a stable, PC optimized build, streamline the QoL within the game, and add a huge amount of terrifying content (many more monsters, curses, weapons, and maps!). With the stretch goals included, I am extremely interested in bringing long term support (LTS) into the game, potentially launching a developer team, and providing updates/content far beyond the game's release.
